TEAM NOVA SCOTIA ROWING SHINES AT 2022 CANADA GAMES

Between August 14th and 21st, Row Nova Scotia sent 21 athletes to represent our province at the 2022 Canada Games in St. Catharines, Ontario. Under the direction of Head Coach Rick Storm, coaches Isolda Penney and Peter Webster, and team manager Pat Cody, Team Nova Scotia Rowing produced the best results ever from our province. The team concluded the regatta with two silver medals and three bronze medals, along with 11 of 13 crews making the grand finals and the final two crews winning the second finals. Below are the results from Team Nova Scotia Rowing.

 

SILVER:

4TH IN A FINAL:

Men’s Eight: (Jack Petrunik, Peter MacGregor, Tom Stender, Robert Walsh, Jay Chevalier, Ben Martens, Noel Balsor, Adam Giles, coxswain: Lily Reid)

5TH. IN FINAL:

Women’s Quad: (Sophie Inkpen, Maya Foster Thompson, Emily Munroe, Sasha Anderson)

Women’s Eight: (Madi Taljaard, Sophie Inkpen, Maya Foster Thompson, Jess Harmon, Emily Munroe, Sasha Anderson, Jana Peachey, Claire Ellison, coxswain: Emma Smith)
