We would like to extend a special thank you our exiting board members, Peter Webster, Tracy Brown and Nicole Sanscartier who have all finished their 2 years terms with the Row NS Board.
Nicole served three years with Row NS, two years being as Treasurer and is leaving Row NS in an excellent financial position moving into the future. She has been instrumental in leading the development of a multi-year budgeting process, streamlining many financial processes and developing new financial policies for the organization.
Tracy Brown has served with Row NS for the past four years. Over this time she has been a workhorse on the Row NS Board of Directors and always keen to take on any project, big or small; and willing to challenge the status quo. She has played an important role in the development of a number of important initiatives including the Row NS Strategic Plan, the current committee structure, the quarterly e-newsletter, the annual Awards Banquet, and the
Row NS fundraising campaign.
Peter Webster has served seven years with Row NS with the past 6 years at the President. In his time with Row NS he has led the charge on many key developments that have brought rowing in Nova Scotia to the place it is today including: overseeing the hiring of the current Provincial Coach Patrick Cody, the development of the Row NS Provincial Training Centre, the current agreements for Provincial Team training with the CSCA, the purchase of the Row NS erg fleet, bringing the fully-buoyed 2km course to Antigonish and the subsequent hosting of the CanAmMex Regatta, the Row NS Strategic Plan, and most recently the Nova Scotia Performance Pathway Initiative.
