Row NS has created a decision-making protocol for hosting regattas, camps, clinics and events for the spring, summer and fall of 2021 in light of the Coronavrius (COVID-19) pandemic. The purpose is to ensure decisions of events/services provided by Row NS align with provincial and federal protocols and directives and account for the health and well-being of our members and the greater public. We hope to provide approximately 4-5 weeks notice for regattas and 2-3 weeks notice for clinics and camps to avoid any inconvenience for our members.
The Really Chili Regatta is an annual one day regatta hosted by Row Nova Scotia in October. The Really Chili is raced on the 1000m buoyed course on Lake Banook in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This is a fun regatta that uses a time trial format intended to create fast, fun, and competitive racing for everyone. With this regatta coming just days before Halloween we encourage crews and rowers to dress up in costume and enjoy a great day of racing and stick around at the end for a steaming hot bowl of chili!
The Really Chili Regatta will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 on Lake Banook in Dartmouth, N.S.
